Starting salary: £45-£52k per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours between 09:00 and 17:30 Monday to Friday with some Saturday mornings
Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays per annum
Location: Blaise, Kent with some travel to other sites and/or Head Office so driving licence essential
An experienced Site Manager is required to manage our Blaise Composting Facility.
This is a permanent position and the successful candidate will be an experienced leader used to managing complex operations. They will ensure the site is run in an efficient and safe manner with proper regard to health & safety, environmental compliance, customer service levels and the expectations of the local community. They will have experience of P&L, be commercially astute and have the ability to operate within budgeted financial targets and report to the Board & Management Team. The successful candidate must be a proven manager, be results orientated and have the ability to operate autonomously.
Skill level equivalent to achievement of HNC/A Level, NVQ3, with strong people management, IT, presentation and report writing skills are essential together with the ability to communicate clearly and deal with people face to face.
Experience in the waste management sector with a COTC qualification would be advantageous.
