Plant Operatives (Energy Plant)

Plant Operatives are required to assist in the daily operations of a power generation facility, to carry out sampling, daily record keeping, weekly routines, minor repairs and minor maintenance tasks on New Earth’s Waste to Energy plant.

Plant Operatives work a shift pattern of 12 hours, 4 on 4 off, alternating between day and night shifts. Operatives may also be required to work additional hours at times to cover holiday and sickness.

The successful candidates will be flexible, team players and have good problem solving skills. Previous industrial plant experience and basic mechanical or electrical skills would be an advantage.

Maintenance Engineer (MBT Plant)

We require a Maintenance Engineer to work a 4-on, 4-off fixed 12 hour shift.

Duties will include carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on the sorting plant, screening plant, mobile plant and fixed infrastructure. There will also be a requirement to undertake minor improvement works and daily checks in accordance with company procedures and the site working plan.

The successful candidate will possess a demonstrable period of plant maintenance together with knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulics. Fabrication skills would also be advantageous. This is a team based role with the ability to work well unsupervised and be self motivated.
