An experienced Site Manager is required to manage our Blaise Composting Facility.
The successful candidate will be an experienced leader used to managing complex operations. They will ensure the site is run in an efficient and safe manner with proper regard to health & safety, environmental compliance, customer service levels and the expectations of the local community. They will have experience of P&L, be commercially astute and have the ability to operate within budgeted financial targets and report to the Board & Management Team. The successful candidate must be a proven manager, be results orientated and have the ability to operate autonomously.
Strong people management, IT, presentation and report writing skills are essential together with the ability to communicate clearly and deal with people face to face.
Experience in the waste management sector with a COTC qualification would be advantageous.

Cotesbach, Leicestershire
Plant Operator: Loading Shovel
We require a Mobile Plant Operator to assist with the efficient loading and operation of the screening plant. Duties will include the processing and movement of materials, feeding of the screening machines with material for processing and cleaning and maintenance of work areas and machinery. Assistance will also be required to drive the composting turner.
A recognised license or qualification to operate a loading shovel, (CITB, CPCS, EPIC, NVQ or proof of experience is required) together with a demonstrable period of plant operating experience eg – telehandlers, agricultural equipment, excavator, skid steer loaders, tractor and trailer or other industrial equipment. Experience of setting up and operating screening plant and feeding plant or similar would be beneficial.
The role involves working from 07:00 – 15.30 Monday to Friday with some Saturday and Bank Holiday working depending on the operating needs of the business.
