Scott joined New Earth in December 2010 as Head of Energy Engineering and took up the role of Technical Director in August 2011. He is responsible for the design, development and delivery of advanced thermal technologies to convert residual waste-derived fuels to energy.

Scott has over 12 years experience in the waste to energy sector and has been instrumental in the delivery of pyrolysis and gasification technology in both the commercial and military sectors. Notable projects include the delivery of five modular small scale pyrolysis plants for the Royal Navy a containerised pyrolysis and gasification plant for the US Army and a commercial clinical waste pyrolysis and gasification plant.

Scott has also worked as a consultant delivering major infrastructure projects in the waste water and petrochemical industries gaining over 20 years experience in the field of electrical controls and instrumentation.
